Leah Stenzel, OWNER
As the owner of Le Bella Salon & MedSpa, Leah has a passion for the spa and salon industry that fuels the best possible customer service available. She had a vision to create a beautiful, at-home-feel environment to pamper our clients. Leah owes her inspiration and her knowledge of skin to 15 years in the medical field. She is a certified laser skin specialist. She was one of the first three people in Arizona to have the fractional co2 (mixto) skin resurfacing laser. Leah has extensive training with Dr. Daniel Casuto from Italy and with Dr. Kofford from Dana Point, California in skin resurfacing. She also has extensive training in Photo Facials, hair removal and acne. Aside from being an owner, Leah devotes several days a week to working with her clients to better their skin and self-esteem.
Leah is fortunate enough to have a successful business that fuels her passion in life with her non-profit 501c3 organization. Leah founded Global Rescue Project in 2013 after a mission trip to Uganda / Rwanda. It was a game changer for her. It was in 2006 that she heard of the human horror taking place in Ghana, West Africa. The inconceivable if you will. A parent feeling no other possible option to feed her children other than selling them to a fishing master in hopes for a better life. She then started her research into making a difference somehow, some way. She feels there is always that point in time that you are inspired to take that step into the unknown. It could be something you see or hear that sparks interest.
It is her 4 kids that drive her to succeed. Knowing that other children in the world are destined to work 14 hour days with little to no food, experience regular beatings, and live in unimaginable conditions drives Leah to fight for these defenseless children who need a voice. "Often it is pain that drives us to make change". She believes if everyone helps in some way, little or big, what a difference we could make. She further believes that in order to make the biggest impact, politics need to be set aside. Rather than feeling like serving and giving is a duty or responsibility, we should view impacting the lives of children as an opportunity. "People are people, no matter what side of the line they were born on. "We are responsible for the children of this world even if you didn't give birth to them". She feels there is no greater gift to give her own children than showing them first hand that every little bit goes a long way.
